LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
OF
THELMA M. SHUGHART
I, THELMA M. SHUGHART, a resident of and domiciled at 5 Middleton
Avenue, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being of sound mind
and disposing intent, do hereby make, publish and declare this
instrument to be my Last Will and Testament, expressly revoking all
Wills and Codicils heretofore made by me.
FIRST: I hereby direct my Executrices, hereinafter named, to pay
all my debts, funeral and administrative expenses out of my estate, as
soon as practicable after my death..
SECOND: I direct that all taxes which may be assessed in
consequence of my death of whatever nature and by whatever jurisdiction
imposed, shall be paid out of my estate as a part of its administration.
THIRD: I direct that my burial take place in Cumberland Valley
Memorial Gardens, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where I own a plot and that I
be given a funeral commensurate with my station in life, with viewing
and /or visitation, to be conducted by Ewing Brothers Funeral Home.
FOURTH: I give the indicated sums to the following individuals who
survive me:
a) I give the sum of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars to my great-
granddaughter, MIRANDA STRYKER;
b) I give the sum of one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars ~ my great-

FIFTH: I give, devise and bequeath all the remainder of my estate
of every nature and wherever situate, to my husband, MAYNARD W.
SHUGHART, if he survives me.
SIXTH: If my husband, MAYNARD W. SHUGHART, does not survive me,
then I direct that the remainder of my estate, of every nature and
wherever situated, to my two daughters, VONNY L. BAILEY and BEVERLY A.
LEHMAN, to be divided between them with due regard for their personal
preferences in as nearly equal shares as practical. Should either of my
daughters predecease me, I give, devise and bequeath her share in equal
shares to her children living at the time of my death.
SEVENTH: I direct that any item that I may own at my death shall
be distributed to each beneficiary without the requirement of payment
therefor.
EIGHTH: In the event my husband, MAYNARD W. SHUGHART, and I should
die simultaneously or under circumstances as to render it impossible to
determine who predeceased the other, or within thirty (30) days of each
other as the result of a common accident, I shall be deemed to have
survived him.
NINTH: I hereby direct that no Executor or other Fiduciary named
or appointed by this Will shall be required to post any bond or give
security of type for any purpose whatsoever, in any jurisdiction in
which he/she may be called upon to act, insofar as I am able by law to
do.
TENTH: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my daughters,
VONNY L. BAILEY and BEVERLY A. LEHMAN, or either of them, as Co-
Executrices of this my Last Will and Testament. I authorize my

Executrices to sell, with or without notice, at either public or private
sale, and to lease any property belonging to my estate, subject only to
such confirmation of court as may be required by law, for such prices
and on such terms and conditions as they deem best.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have signed this my Will consisting of Four
(4) typewritten pages. I have signed my name for greater security and
better identification on the o. day of 1997.
