PETITION TO OPEN PROBATE RECORD
TO ADMIT DECEDENT'S HOLOGRAPHIC WILL
AND NOW, comes Christine H. Mahoney, Administratrix of the Estate of Curtis
A. Cleland, Deceased, and respectfully represents as follows:
1. Curtis A. Cleland (hereinafter "decedent") died on March 21, 2011.
2. At the time of his death, decedent was domiciled at 22 Garde. rkwa ~

3. The decedent was survived by his mother, Joan H. Cleland, ~~~ ;,,~~ ~'"'

decedent was not survived by his father.
4. The decedent died without issue.
5. The decedent's mother died March 30, 2011.
6. The decedent was survived by one sister, Christine H. Mahoney.
7. Christine H. Mahoney resides at 918 Gobin Drive, Carlisle, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania 17013.
8. On or about April 6, 2011, Christine H. Mahoney filed a Petition for Grant
of Letters of Administration, believing that the decedent did not have a will.
9. On April 6, 2011, the Register of Wills of Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, granted Christine H. Mahoney (hereinafter "Administratrix") Letters of
Administration for the Estate of Curtis A. Cleland.
10. Recently, in inventorying the decedent's residence, the Administratrix
found a holographic Will executed by Curtis A. Cleland on May 30, 1993 and revised
September 16, 1996. A copy of the Will is attached hereto as "Exhibit A."
11. Decedent's Will does not name an executor and as such no change is
necessary for the personal representative in this estate.
12. The Executor is the intestate heir and as such notice to other heirs is
unnecessary.
WHEREFORE, Administratrix respectfully requests that the Administratrix be
permitted to submit the decedent's holographic will to probate.

which has been assembled by my attorney in this litigation. The language of the
statements is not my own. I have read the statements; and to the extent that they are
based upon information which I have given to my counsel, they are true and correct to
the best of my knowledge, information and belief. I understand that false statements
herein are made subject to the penalties of 18 Pa.C.S. § 4904 relating to unsworn
falsifications to authorities.
