I declare that I am a widowed woman and that I presently have one child, whose name and date of birth are as follows: TONI ALLENE SEMANKO Born November 26, 1943 ARTICLE I FUNERAL EXPENSES I direct that all just expenses of my last illness and funeral be paid by my Executrix from my estate as soon after my death as conveniently may be done. 1 ARTICLE II PERSONALTY I give and bequeath all of my household furnishings and tangible personal property to my daughter, TONI A. SEMANKO, presently of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, provided she survives me by thirty (30) days. Should my daughter, TONI A. SEMANKO, predecease me or fail to survive me by thirty (30) days, my personal property shall be sold and the proceeds added to the residue of my estate. ARTICLE IV RESIDUE I give, devise and bequeath the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, whether real, personal or mixed, of any nature whatsoever and wherever situated, including any lapsed or void legacy, to my daughter, TONI A. SEMANKO, provided she survives me by thirty (30) days. Should my daughter, TONI A. SEMANKO, predecease me or fail to survive me by thirty (30) days, I give, devise and bequeath the rest, residue and remainder of my estate as follows: A. FIVE THOUSAND ($5,000.00) DOLLARS to JANE BARTHOLOMEW, presently of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. B. ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00) DOLLARS to P.E.O. CHAPTER T, SISTERHOOD OF HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA to be used solely for the 2 purpose of funding educational grants in my memory and not for any administrative purposes. C. FIVE THOUSAND ($5,000.00) DOLLARS to the MECHANICSBURG LIBRARY to be used to purchase talking books on tape and large-print books in my memory, and not for any administrative purposes. D. FIVE THOUSAND ($5,000.00) DOLLARS to the BETHANY VILLAGE LIBRARY to be used to purchase talking books on tape and large-print books in my memory, and not for any administrative purposes. E. I give, devise and bequeath the balance of the residue of my estate, to the P.E.O. FOUNDATION, anon-profit Iowa corporation and qualified charity [IRC 501(c)(3)], 3700 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 53012-2899, to be distributed equally to the following qualified P.E.O. projects: P.E.O. EDUCATIONAL LOAN FUND and P.E.O. PROGRAM FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION, to be used to fund education loans and continuing education loans in my memory, and not for any administrative purposes. ARTICLE V EXECUTRIX A. I appoint my daughter, TONI A. SEMANKO, as the Executrix of this Will. In the event of her death, resignation, renunciation or inability to act in that capacity, then I appoint JANE BARTHOLOMEW, in her place and stead. 3 B. No bond or other security shall be required of any Executrix appointed in this Will. C. My Executrix is specifically authorized to sell any real and/or personal property of mine in order to carry out my wishes as outlined above. ARTICLE VI SURVIVAL If any provision of this Will or of any codicil thereto is held to be inoperative, invalid or illegal, it is my intention that all of the remaining provisions thereof shall continue to be fully operative and effective so far as it is possible and reasonable.
