To The Honorable J. Wesley Oler, Jr.,
In concern to Mr. Cameron's, Esq., 6 June 2011 letter pertaining to the Edith S. Rife Trust Nos. 11-0325,
10-1006, and 83-0773 Orphan's Court dockets I agree to the proposal to name my brother, Mr. Barry A.
Maxwell as co-successor trustee.
I continue to raise concerns about the long term direction my cousin John W. Maxwell and his attorney,
Mr. Cameron are pursuing with the Edith S. Rife Trust,. of which I am an equal beneficiary. These
concerns are stated below:
• Mr. Walters, III, Esq. and executor of the Charles J. Rife estate, Mr. Fred Junkins, have stated
there are existing Charles J. Rife estate previous tax filings and legal documentation reflecting
the Edith S. Rife assets.
• Per Mr. Walters, III, Esq. the Edith S. Rife assets have been set aside from the Charles J. Rife
estate ready for disbursement by the Edith S. Rife Trust to-be-named co-successor trustees.
Once the co-successor trustees have been named would further legal/court proceedings
prevent disbursement since these are existing Edith S. Rife Trust assets?
• Is there any Pennsylvania state statute of limitations on Trust asset management challenges?
Prior to Charles J. Rffe's death in 2010, my Great- grandmother Edith S. Rife had previously
been deceased for at least 26 years during which time my cousin John W. Maxwell could have
previously challenged our Great-uncle Charles J. Rife on his anticipated proposed inappropriate
management of the Edith S. Rife Trust holdings.
• John W. Maxwell, as well as all the other Edith S. Rife Trust beneficiaries, received
approximately equal monetary remuneration from the Rlfe Clifford Trust Fund established for
educational pursuits just before my Great-grandmother Edith S. Rife's death. Charles J. Rife did
this in accordance with the Edith S. Rife Trust directive.
• During our Great-Uncle Charles J. Rife's lifetime, John Maxwell as well as his brother, Steven
Maxwell, previously borrowed money from our mutual Great-uncle Charles J. Rife which the
debts, if not repaid, are to be deducted from their Charles J. Rife inheritance. Please consider
my cousins have already received part/all of their Charles J. Rife inheritance- depending on
their previous estate repayments.
• If Mr. Cameron's and Mr. John W. Maxwell's anticipated challenges to the deceased Charles J.
Rife's management of his mother's, Edith S. Rife, trust holdings are to be considered, please
allow the non-borrowing Edith S. Rffe Trust beneficiaries' inheritance of the Charles J. Rife
estate to be disbursed in the anticipated (unchallenged) timeline. If it pleases the court to
consider personal issues; I, as a recently retired United States Air Force member awaiting VA
disability assessment, am trying to get my ADA compliant home built. Any money that my
Great-uncle Charles J. Rife's estate bequeathed me is needed to complete the home for my
occupancy.
Very Respectfully,
5~~ ~ .~'ha.,ruK-~c..
