HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-6327Petition bnc?,f N U ll-lv3a`1 August 9, 2011 On March 2, 2004 1 purchased a Seadoo boat and SHOR-LANDR Trailer from Doyle Wolgemuth who I understood to be a principle at Reinhart Ford in Ephrata, PA. On June 5th of the same year, I met Mr. Wolgemuth at a Notary Public near my home to have the Bills of Sale Notarized for the Boat and Trailer (This was a requirement by the State of Delaware in order to get the Boat Registration transferred). Mr. Wolgemuth mailed the trailer title to me sometime after the June 5th meeting and the plan was to meet again in the near future at the same notary to have to title signed over to me. For one reason or another that meeting never took place. Because the boat was located on private property in Delaware and launched from that property when used, I didn't worry about it too much. Months turned into years and I eventually didn't think about it much until now. I wish to sell the boat to a fellow PA resident for them to enjoy so while the boat is easily transferred from Delaware to PA this open trailer title is an issue. Hard Lesson Learned. When I tried to contact Mr. Wolgemuth at Reinhart Ford, I was told by the new owners that Reinhart Ford went out of business in 2009. 1 have tried to contact Mr. Wolgemuth by phone and US Mail and have been unsuccessful. I visited the PA Department of Transportation to find out what to do and they directed me to this course of action and gave me the attached sample court order wording that I have recreated and attached for the courts convenience. • Fortunately, I do still have a copy of the Trailer Bill of Sale that was completed on June 5th, 2004 marked Exhibit "A" • 1 also have the original PA Trailer title that was notarized by Reinhart Ford out of the last owners name but not into mine. I have provided a Photo Copy of this document as I was unsure if I would receive any documents back. This will be marked Exhibit "B" • A copy of Mr. Wolgemuth's driver's license obtained during our meeting at the Notary on June 5th, 2004. This will be marked Exhibit "C" • Court Order draft required by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to award ownership to Terrence P.
