HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-15-11 (2)FIRST CODICIL TO THE WILL OF JEANNETTE MORRISON I, JEANNETTE MORRISON, of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, declare this to be a First Codicil to my will dated October 31, 2006. ~ ~~.= FIRST: I revoke Section 2.01 of Article Two of my will and subst~~' ~ieref the _ ~ {~.,~` . ~-~-- following new Section 2.01: ~ w rn -- _ _ _ ~` ~ c..~ Article Two ~ -- = ~-> Specific and General Gifts ~~~~~ ~ti Section 2.01 Specific Distribution to Michael A. Morrison As soon as practicable after my death, if my husband has predeceased me, I give the sum of $50,000.00 to Michael A. Morrison. If Michael A. Morrison should predecease me, I give the property subject to this distribution to the then living descendants of Michael A. Morrison, per stirpes. Property passing under this Section shall pass free of any administrative expenses or death taxes. SECOND: I revoke Section 2.03 of Article Two of my will and substitute therefor the following new Section 2.03: Section 2.03 Specific Distribution to Grandchildren If my husband has predeceased me, then as soon as practicable after my death, I give the sum of $10,000.00 to each of my surviving grandchildren. If one of my grandchildren fails to survive me, then I give said sum to his or her surviving issue, per stirpes. If my husband survives me, this distribution shall. lapse and the property subject to this distribution shall instead be distributed under the other provisions of my will. Property passing under this Section shall pass free of any administrative expenses or death taxes. THIRD: In all other respects, I confirm and republish my will dated October 31, 2006. I signed this First Codicil to my Will on ~~ ~~.~e~' ~ , 2006. ~ ;~1~ ANNETTE MO SON On the date last above written, we saw JEANNETTE MORRISON, in our presence, sign the foregoing instrument at its end. She then declared it to be a First Codicil to her will and requested us to act as witnesses to it.
