TO THE HONORABLE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:
Barbara L. Nickel and Dorothy A. Becker your Petitioners, file this Petition for
Settlement of a Small Estate under the provisions of Section 3102 of the Probate, Estates and
Fiduciaries Code and in support thereof avers that:
(1) Your Petitioner, Barbara L. Nickel is a competent adult residing at 384 Lake
Meade Drive, East Berlin, Pennsylvania 17316, and is the daughter of the above
decedent.
(2) Your Petitioner, Dorothy A. Becker is a competent adult residing at 48 Derbyshire
Drive, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17015, and is the daughter of the above decedent.
(3) Ethel C. Adams, died on May 26, 2011 at the age of 90 years, but prior thereto
was a resident of the Forst Park Health Center in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and was
last domiciled at 700 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania. A copy of Decedent's Death Certificate is attached hereto
as Exhibit "A."
(4) Ethel C. Adams died with a Will. No Letters have been issued.
(5) Ethel C. Adams had no probate estate when she died other than the following:
Bank account with Orrstown Bank Bank with a balance of
$10,372.02. A copy of the Date of Death Valuation is attached as
Exhibit "B."
(6) The sole heirs and relationship to the Decedent are as follows:
Barbara L. Nickel, Daughter
Dorothy A. Becker, Daughter
(7) Your Petitioners aver that there are no creditors of the decedent and there are no
claims unpaid known to your Petitioners.
WHEREFORE, your Petitioner respectfully requests that an Order be made authorizing
Barbara L. Nickel and Dorothy A. Becker to act as Fiduciaries and to close out the account at
Orrstown Bank, pursuant to Section 3102 of the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code.
