SPONSLER, of the Township of Upper Allen, County of Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void any and all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made. 1. I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my decease as the same can be conveniently done, in this respect also, I direct that a:ll estate, inheritance and succession taxes that may be assessed in consequence of my death, of whatever nature and by whatever jurisdiction imposed, shall be paid out of the principal of my general estate to the same effect as if said taxes were expenses of administration and that all property includable in my taxable estate, whether or not passing under this Will, shall be free and clear thereof. 2. I give and bequeath twenty-five (25%} per cent. of my estate to the SHEPHERDSTOWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, of 1934 South York Street, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, 1755, to be applied to the payment of its mortgage. -1- 3. The residue of my estate after said bequest to the SHEPHERDSTOWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH shall be distributed as follows: a.) I give and bequeath 30% thereof to my nephew, RONAL~1 C. ECKERD. b.) I give and bequeath 52% thereof to my niece, IDA MARIE SPONSLER, if she survives me and in the event she should predecease me the bequest shall be paid instead SHEPHERDSTOWN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, to be applied to the payment of its mortgage. c.) I give and bequeath 6% thereof to my niece BARBARA SPONSLER INGLE, if she survives me and in the event she should predecease me the bequest shall be paid instead to her children, share and share alike. d.) I give and bequeath 6% thereof to my niece GLADYS SPONSLER WATTS, if she survives me and in the event she should predecease me th.e bequest shall be paid instead to her son, JOEL WATTS. e.) I give and bequeath 6% thereof to my niece LOIS SPONSL~ER MAY, if she survives me and in the event she should predecease me the bequest shall be paid instead to her children, share and share alike. LASTLY, I nominate, constitute and appoint my nephew, RONALD C. ECKERD, Executor of this my Last Will and in the event that my said nephew should predecease me, -2- or should he by unable or unwilling to serve in such capacity for any reason, then in such event, I nominate, constitute and appoint J. ROBERT STAUFFER, Esquire, F?xecutor of this my Last Will and Testament in his place and stead in all instances, I direct that my said personal representatives be excused from posting bond or other security for the faithful performance of their duties, in any jurisdiction.
