I represent David D. Thomas, Executor of the Estate of Catherine Anne Thomas.
Enclosed is the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax return, which must be postmarked on or before
September 3, 201 I or order to be timely filed. Although I am filing this return on time, there
is not enough cash in the Estate to pay the full amount of tax due at this time.
The major asset of the Estate is the real estate located at 729 Bosler Avenue, Lemoyne,
PA 17043, which is currently occupied by two of the heirs. It is the intention of ithe heirs to
keep this property within the family and to secure funding to transfer the deed and pay any
outstanding Estate expenses as soon as practical.
I am enclosing a good faith payment of $3,000. I respectfully request that penalties be
waived for late payment. I understand that interest will continue to accrue from September 3,
2011 on any unpaid balance until the date of payment.
