Remaining balance
The remaining balance of $9,082.90 is to be divided equally among the three (3) beneficiaries of record,
Jacqueline D. Provancher, Weston R. Walmer, Jr. and Margaret E. J. Ford (executor). The following is a
Proposed Distribution of Funds for each of the three beneficiaries:
Jacqueline D. Provancher^' $3,027.63
Weston R. Walmer, Jr. ~ $3,027.63
Margaret E. J. Ford ~ $3,027.64
There are two options to disburse the remaining funds.
Option 1: File a formal accounting with the State of Pennsylvania Orphans' Court and a statement of
proposed distribution for disbursement of the funds. This requires a formal accounting of the
estate by an accountant which would need to be reviewed & approved by the Court. This would
also require an attorney to file the request in the Cumberland County Orphans' Court for
disbursement of the funds. Once approved by the Court, the funds could be disbursed, after
deducting the fees for the formal accounting, attorney and court fees.
Option 2: Close the estate account and disburse the remaining funds according to the Proposed
Distribution of Funds as stated above. This would not require a formal accounting of the
estate nor a request to the court for an approval of disbursement. However, it does require
agreement by all three beneficiaries confirming the understanding of the distribution and
releasing the executor from liability. If this option is chosen, all three beneficiaries must agree
that the executor shall not be held responsible should any liabilities come forward for
payment. If notice is received that a debt is outstanding, payment for that debt will need to
be paid by all three of the beneficiaries in equal parts.
Once an option is officially agreed upon by all three beneficiaries, the next step can be taken, depending
on which option is chosen. Accordingly upon selection and signature below, the beneficiary named,
along with the signature of a witness, shall return an original of this Statement of Account to the
Executor.
A Statement of Account has been provided to all three beneficiaries named above. All three parties
must return one signed original for the estate records. Once it has been determined which option was
selected and agreed to by all parties, the Executor shall notify the parties and move forward with the
selection.
Any questions or concerns should be addressed with the Executor prior to signature of this Statement by
contacting her at the phone, address or email listed below. If there are no questions or concerns, or all
have previously been addressed, make a selection of the Option you choose for disbursement of the
estate funds by marking the appropriate box.
