The Petition of Kenneth Lee Myers and Betty Jane Spangler respectfully represents that:
1. Kenneth S. Myers died on October 18, 2010, a resident of the North Middleton Township,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
2. Petitioner, Kenneth Lee Myers, whose address is 241 North Middleton Road, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, 17013, is the son of the Decedent, one of the contingent Executors named in
Decedent's Last Will and Testament dated June 30, 1981, and one of two beneficiaries of the
estate.
3. Petitioner, Betty Jane Spangler, whose address is 129 West Hillcrest Drive, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, 17013, is the daughter of the Decedent, one of the contingent Executors named in
Decedent's Last Will and Testament dated June 30, 1981, and one of two beneficiaries of the
estate.
4. A Certificate of Grant of Letters Testamentary was issued to Petitioners by the Register of Wills
of Cumberland County Pennsylvania, on December 16, 2010.
5. Decedent's Last Will and Testament named as his beneficiary his wife, Eleanor W. Myers, who
predeceased him, having died on March 27, 2006.
6. Decedent's named contingent heirs in his Last Will and Testament dated June 30, 1981, are
Kenneth Lee Myers and Betty Jane Spangler, your within Petitioners.

7. At the time of Decedent's death, the only probate estate and taxable estate of which he was seized
was one account held individually by Decedent at M&T Bank, 100 South Spring Garden Street,
Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 17013, to account number xxxxx1824.
8. The aforesaid account was owned solely by Decedent at the time of Decedent's death.
9. The aforesaid account, with a date of death value of $23,922.85, is the only asset of which
Decedent was seized had at the time of his death.
10. Petitioners have paid from Decedent's funds (the estate funds) the following debts:
(a) Probate fees paid and anticipated $ 141.50
(b) Attorney's fees to Griffie and Associates $ 1 ,500.00
(c) Funeral Expenses to Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home $ 342.51
(d) Carlisle Memorial Service $ 185.00
(e) Catering Service $ 112.00
(f) Pastor Richard Ruff (service) $ 50.00
(g) The Sentinel (advertising) $ 198.16
(h) Cumberland Law Journal (advertising) $ 75.00
(i) First Health Insurance (partial premium) $ 8.00
(j) PharMerica (medical) $ 6.00
(k) PPL Electric Utilities $ 38.72
TOTAL
$ 2,786.89
11. As such, Petitioners have paid all known estate debts and debts of Decedent, including balances
due to Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home for limited services beyond Decedent's pre-paid services.
12. The sole remaining proceeds from which any additional distributions can be made from the estate
are $19,229.84, which will be distributed to Petitioners as sole beneficiaries pursuant to the terms
of Decedent's Last Will and Testament.
13. There are no additional claimants or creditors of whom the Petitioners have knowledge who have
not received full compensation.
l4. A Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return has been filed and all tax due has been paid as evidenced
by the Notice of Inheritance Tax Appraisement, Allowance or Disallowance of Deductions and
Assessment of Tax from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A".
15. Advertising of the estate was completed as required by law
16. This estate is of such a value as to be able to be approved pursuant to 20 Pa.C.S.A. ~ 3102.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners request your Honorable Court to approve settlement of this estate with
disbursements to the named heirs, and with payment of the debts as claimed herein.
