I, EDITH A. MILES, residing in the County of Onondaga,
State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby
make, publish and declare this instrument to be my Last Will and
Testament, in the manner following:
FIRST: Knowing that this my Last Will and Testament
provides only for the disposition of my earthly responsibilities
and possessions, I desire to preface it with a statement
regarding the greatest treasure of all: my faith in the Lord
Jesus Christ.
Having entered into life in a new and greater dimension,
that is, eternal life in Heaven through the Lord Jesus Christ, I
now testify to the truth through my death.
I acknowledge, with great concern for your eternal destiny,
that death shall one day overtake you as well. A question that
I must, therefore, ask is: Should death overtake you today, are
you confident that you have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and
that you will go to Heaven?
The God of the universe who created you and loves you sent
His only Son, Jesus, to die for you. He was crucified and
buried. Yet He rose again from the dead and through His shed
blood you too may be cleansed from sin and have eternal life.
To this end the Scriptures clearly testify, "For God so loved
the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
(John 3:16)
Today, through my testimony, God offers you the choice to
enter into eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ as your
personal Savior and Lord. Will you believe in Him? Will you
surrender your life to Him? By this decision you, too, may pass
from death to life.
"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and
forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36)

SECOND: I hereby revoke all and any former Wills or
Codicils to Wills, as well as any and all other instruments of a
testamentary nature made and executed by me.
THIRD: I direct the payment of all my legal debts and
funeral expenses as soon after my death as may be practicable,
including the payment of any medical expenses incurred as a
result of my last illness.
FOURTH: I bequeath all of my clothing, jewelry, personal
effects, household goods, furniture, furnishings and automobiles
and all other tangible personal property not otherwise
specifically bequeathed, (except cash on hand) owned by me at
the time of my death to my husband, Leon L. Miles, if he shall
survive me. If my said husband, Leon L. Miles, shall not
survive me, I give, and bequeath all such property to my
husband's children, Lauren Miles and Lenore M. Lowrey, who shall
be surviving at my death, absolutely and in as nearly equal
shares, per capita as possible. My Executor shall be authorized
to allocate individual items of said property between or among
the said Lauren Miles and Lenore M. Lowrey in such a manner as
he deems equitable in order to effect distribution thereof. His
decision regarding such division and distribution shall be final
and binding.
FIFTH: All the rest, residue and remainder of my property
of every name and nature, both real, personal and mixed, and
wheresoever situate, and whether acquired before or after the
execution of this Wili, and including any property over which at
the time of my death I shall have any power of testamentary
disposition, T give, devise and bequeath to my husband, Leon L.
Miles, if he shall survive me, and if he does not survive me
then I direct that my estate shall be divided as follows:
(a) I give and bequeath a sum equal to ten percent (l00)
of my residuary estate to the GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE ASSEMBLIES
OF GOD, a Religious Corporation with offices in Springfield,
Missouri, to be used as its Board of Trustees shall determine;
and

(b) I give, devise and bequeath a sum equal to ten percent
(l00) of my residuary estate to the NEW YORK DISTRICT OF THE
ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, a religious corporation with offices in
Onondaga County, New York, to be used for its work known as
MAN Y;
(c) I give, devise and bequeath the balance of my
residuary estate to my husband's children, Lauren Miles and
Lenore M. Lowrey, as shall survive me, in equal parts or to the
survivor if only one of them shall survive me; provided,
however, that if any of the said Lauren Miles and/or Lenore M.
Lowrey shall predecease me, leaving issue me surviving, such
issue shall take in equal parts, per stirpes, the share which
their parent who predeceased me would have taken if such person
had survived me.
SIXTH: If any property including income hereunder shall
become payable or distributable to any infant, such property
shall vest in such infant. During the minority of such infant,
however, my Executor or Trustee, as the case may be, shall have
sole and absolute discretion to retain the same and any income
therefrom, or sell the same on such terms as they shall deem
equitable, and invest and reinvest the proceeds of sale and any
income as they shall deem advisable without restriction by any
rule of law regarding investment of Trust funds, or hold such
property, proceeds or income in kind, or in cash and uninvested,
or pay over such property, proceeds or income to, or apply the
same for the benefit of, such infant, or pay the same to either
parent or to the guardian of such infant, or to the person with
whom such infant resides, and in any such case the receipt of
any payee as aforesaid shall be a full discharge of my Executor
or Trustee from further accountability for such property,
proceeds or income. My Executor or Trustee shall not be required
to give or furnish any bond or other security for acting
hereunder with respect to any property in any jurisdiction. Any
Executor or Trustee shall be entitled to receive commissions to
which they would be entitled upon the termination of my estate
or any Trust in spite of the fact that any part of my estate or

such Trust shall be retained by either of them pursuant to this
Article of my Will.
My Executor and Trustee may exercise with respect to all
property retained pursuant to this Rrticle, all powers and
discretion conferred on my Executor and Trustee by this Will.
SEVENTH: My Executor and any successor or substitute shall
have the sole and absolute right and discretion to exercise the
following powers in addition to any given by Law, all without
prior authority of any Court, with respect to any property, real
or personal, including accumulated income and any property held
subject to any power, at any time forming part of my estate,
which property shall remain subject to the exercise of all
powers, herein conferred or not, of my Executor up to the time
of final settlement of the accounts of my estate: To retain any
property for any period and to invest and reinvest in any
property without being limited to the kind or amounts of
property in which fiduciaries are authorized by Law or any rule
of Gourt to invest Trust funds; to sell, lease, exchange, grant
options for, or otherwise dispose of property at public or
private sale on any terms as to cash or credit or otherwise,
regardless of statutory limitation, as my Executor shall deem
advisable; to borrow or lend money and to pledge or mortgage any
property; to hold property in the name of a nominee or in
unregistered form; to vote in person or by proxy, at corporate
or other meetings and to grant proxies, discretionary or
otherwise in respect thereof; to employ investment counsel,
attorneys, custodians or other agents and to delegate discretion
to them and to compensate them without reducing their own
compensation; to make distribution of any income or principal
payable to a minor by means of a distribution to a custodian
appointed under any Uniform Gifts to Minors Act; and to do all
such acts and to exercise all such rights and privileges
although not herein specifically mentioned as if my Executor
were the absolute owner of all such property and in that

connection to enter into any covenants or agreements binding my
estate as my Executor shall deem advisable.
EIGHTH: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my
husband, Leon L. Miles, sole Executor of this, my Last Will and
Testament. In the event, however, of the death of my husband
before me or before final distribution of my estate or if for
any reason he should fail to qualify, I nominate, constitute and
appoint Lauren Miles and Lenore M. Lowrey, or the survivor of
them, sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament. I
hereby direct that my Executor and his legal successors shall
not, nor shall either of them be required to post or furnish any
bond or other security for the faithful performance of his or
