Once the judge authorizes the clerk to leave the building your fiaac6e must go to the Register of Wills and pay for the license and complete her part of the application.. Also, the Facility Chaplain or magistrate or representative from another faith group may officiate the wedding (this has to be paid by the inmate). The "guests" will be Corrections Officers (does not give a specific number) as well as two visitors each for the groom and for the bride (these 4 individuals must all be in the inmate's visiting list). The, wedding bands must be sent to security prior to the wedding for inspection and the bouquet is a two flower arrangement. A brief kiss will be allowed and one photograph is pen~itted and the photographer normally assigned to the guest house will serve as photographer (this will also be paid by the inmate). As for the marriage license, I received an a-mail from the register of wills from Cumberland County and will forward it onto you, she explains how the inmate can go about getting his marriage license. If you have any questions please let me know. -----Original Message----- From: Ditty, Jeffrey K Sent: Thursday, September 29, 2011 12:35 PM To: Bieber, Frederick L; Mulhollan, Heather Cc: Wolfgang, Sandra; Priori-Melnbel, Andrea L Subject: RE: request for marriage by Bedoya, JP5924 Approved. I have met with them [see ICAR note bekwvj and determined that this has been an ongoing r~elatbnship since before his incarr:eration and that it is a realistic and viable plan. lie has given me a request slip addressed to you, Go me, stating this desire. 8/5/11 Visiting Room- Met with Inmate Bedoya and his fiancee and mother for an initial counseling. session. They have requested to be married during .his irxs~rceration: The most important or urgent issue is that she has a window of enrollment on her insurance. He needs to get on her insurance for himself and his children. We discussed multiple topics that they are recornrrreilded to thoroughly communir, ate with each other. Both of them are Catholic, so that removes one spiritual issue. They plan on a spiritual. wedding when he is released. Other practical concerns and processes were discussed. There is a large generational difference in their ages, and both have children from their previous marriages. The children are already well, arquainted with both parties. Their next step is to get legal registration at the court house. _._ _ _ _ Frederick L. Bieber, BA, DATS 2 ~ M Block Counselor .Department of Corrections ~ SCI-Camp Hill P.O.
