I assume there was never a civil suit instituted against Rea & Derick, Inc., in the
Prothonotary's Office. Now that I look at it, that is where the petition to approve the
minor's settlement should have been filed. However, no harm no foul. But there is no
suit to discontinue in the Orphans' Court because all there was was a petition to
approve a minor's settlement. Let the lawyer know there is nothing further he needs to
do on this record.
