I direct my executor to pay all of my debts, funeral and administrative expenses as soon as convenient after my decease. 2. I authorize and empower my executor to sell any realty owned by me at my death and not specifically devised herein, at either public or private sa]e, and to give good and sufficient deeds therefor, in fee simple, as I could do if living. My executor is authorized and empowered to continue to any business in which I may be engaged at my death, period as seems expedient to said executor. engage in for such 3. I devise and bequeath all of my estate of every nature and wherever situate to my husband, William A. Bassett, providing he shall survive me by sixty days. 4. Should the gift in Paragraph No. 3 not take effect, I devise and bequeath all of my estate of every nature and wherever situate to my daughter, Megan D. Bassett. 5. Should my daughter, Megan D. Bassett, be under the age of twenty-one (21) years at the time for distribution to her and should the value of her share of my estate be more than the amount without devise which may be paid or delivered to her or in her behalf the appointment of a guardian or other fiduciary, I and bequeath the share of my daughter, in trust to the Dauphin Deposit Bank and Trust Company, of the Borough of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The trustee, as well as my executor, is hereby authorized to retain, unconverted, any property, real or personal, that I may own at my death, and shall be under no duty to convert the same into legal investments. The trustee shall have the power and authority to hold, manage, invest and reinvest, and to pay over the net income of the trust property to or for the use and benefit of my daughter if she be under the age of twenty-one (21) years, discretion of the trustee. empowered to pay over to, or to accumulate the same in the sole The trustee is also authorized and or for the use and benefit of, my daughter, such portion of or all of the principal of the trust estate as in its sole discretion seems proper for the maintenance, health, education or setting up of my daughter in a business or in a profession, or for similar purposes. Should he die before my death, renounce or refuse to serve for any reason, or die leaving any of my estate 2 unadministered, my child being under the age of eighteen years, I nominate and appoint G. Richard Cornman and Peggy B. Cornman, as substitute executors with the same powers as are given herein to my executor, and also without the filing of any bond. If, at my death, my child is eighteen years or older, she however, shall be the substitute executrix of this my last will and testament, also to serve as such without bond, with the same powers as are given herein to my executor. 7. Should the gift in Paragraph No. 4 take effect, I hereby direct that G. Richard Cornman and Peggy B. Cornman, shall be the guardians of the person of my daughter, so long as she be under the age of eighteen years at my death. 8. I hereby suggest that my personal representative retain the services of Irwin, Irwin & McKnight, as attorneys in the settlement of my estate.
