acknowledged, and the further consideration mentioned in the agreement aforesa~, for themselves and their
subcontractors, ~d all parties acting thro~fi or ~nder them. covenant and agree t~t no m~chanlc ~ liens or claims
shall be filed or maintained by them or any or.em against the said buildings a~ ~e lot of ground
thereto for or on account of any wor~ done or materlah furnished by t~em or ~y of them under said contract or
othe~ise, for, to~ards, i~ or about the erection and construction of the sam buildings on the lot above described,
and the sam ContractoG for themselves, t~elr subcontractors and others under them hereby expressly ~aive and
relinquish the right to have, file. and maintain any mtc~anic ~ liens or claims against the said buildings or any of
them. and agree that thh instrument ~i~ing the ~ght of lien, shall be an indepe~ent covenant.
