IN RE: PETITION FOR APPOINTMENT
OF A GUARDIAN OF THE PERSON OF A MINOR
ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this 29th day of March, 2012, upon
consideration of the Petition by Petitioner Jahir Gabriel
Torres-Correa, a minor over the age of 14, for the appointment of
Karen Gonzalez Torres as guardian of person, and following a
hearing in this matter where testimony was heard by the Petitioner,
the proposed guardian, and the mother of the Petitioner, Gladys
Correa, and all the parties indicating that they want Ms. Torres to
be appointed as guardian of the minor, it is hereby ordered that
Karen Gonzalez Torres be appointed the guardian of the person of
Jahir Gabriel Torres-Correa until he reaches the age of majority or
unless otherwise rescinded by further order of Court. This order
is without prejudice to the rights of the parents to seek a
modification of this order.
