WHEREAS, The Big Spring School District, of 45 Mount Rock Road, Newville, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, are about to execute contemporaneously herewith a contract, with
American Roofing, Inc., Subcontractor, ofRR 6 Box 1469, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania,
for roof replacement to the Big Spring Middle School, 47 Mount Rock Road, Newville, PA.
NOW, December 5th, 2001,,.at thq:time of and immediately before the execution of the principal
contract and before any authority has been given by the said Owners to the said Subcontractor to
commence work on the said building or purchase materials for the same in consideration of the
making of the said contract with Owner and the further consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) to
Subcontractor paid by Owner, it is agreed that no lien shall be filed against the building by the
Subcontractor, nor any ofth..e mater/al men or workmen or any other person for any labor, or
materials purchased, or extra labor or materials purchased for the reroofing of the building, the
right to file such liens being expressly waived.
WITNESS our hand and seals the day and year aforesaid.
