NOW COMES the Borough of Mechanicsburg Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, by its attorney Lisa Marie Coyne, Esquire, and files the within claim
for charges assessed with respect to sewer and /or refuse rates against above
named owner or owners and against the hereinafter described real estate as
follows:
STATEMENT OF CLAIM
1. This claim is filed by the Borough of Mechanicsburg, a borough organized
and existing in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.
2. The owner or reputed owner of the property, or party or parties
responsible or liable, for which this claim is filed is the Defendant(s).
3. The authority under which the sewer and/or refuse rates were changed
and assessed is the Act of July 18, 1935, P.L. 1286, Section 1, 53 P.S. § 2231,
as amended.
4. Plaintiff has made demands for payment for services; however,
Defendant(s) have not made payments for the services provided.
5. The authority under which this claim is filed is the Act of May 16, 1923
P.L. 207, Section 9, et seq., 53P.S. §7143, as amended.

6. A description of the property against which this claim is filed is:

Cumberland County
Pennsylvania 17055
TAX PARCE NUMBER 17-23-0565-245
7. This claim has not been the subject of any previous claim and judgment
in the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County for sewer and/or
refuse charges.
8. The total amount of the charges for which this claim is filed is
seven hundred and fifty eight and 75/100 dollars ($758.75), plus costs and
reasonable attorney's fees.
9. The time period for which these charges are filed is July 1, 2011 to June 30,
2012 on
Sewer Account 2949-0.
WHEREFORE, Claimant requests that a Municipal Lien be entered in its
favor and against the Defendant in the amount of seven hundred and fifty eight
and 75/100 dollars ($758.75), plus cost and reasonable attorney's fees.

WITNESSETH, that in consideration of ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND 00/100 DOLLARS
($139,900.00) in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said
grantor(s) do(es) hereby grant and convey to the said grantee(s), their heirs, and assigns:

ALL THAT CERTAIN house and lot of ground situate on the West side of South Chestnut
Street, in the Second Ward of the Borough of Mechanicsburg, County of Cumberland and State
of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows, to wit:
BEGRq,FNG at a point in the Western line of South Chestnut Street, at corner of Lot formerly of
John Geiger, later of Harry W. Mountz, and now of Robert Mumma; thence extending along the
Western line of South Chestnut Street in a Southwardly direction a distance of 64 feet, more or
less, to a point at corner of Lot formerly of Frank L. Mountz, now of H.B. Groff; thence along
the line of said Lot formerly of Frank L. Mountz, now of H.B. Groff in a Westwardly direction, a
distance of 147 feet to a point in the Eastern line of public alley; thence extending along the
Eastern line of said public alley in a Northwardly direction, a distance of 64 feet, more or less, to
a point at corner of Lot formerly of Harry W. Mountz, now of Robert Mumma, aforementioned;
thence along the line of said Lot now of Robert Mumma in an Eastwardly direction, a distance of
147 feet to a point in the Western line of South Chestnut Street, aforementioned, at the point and
place of BEGINNING.
HAVING THEREON ERECTED a frame dwelling house known and numbered as 18 South
Chestnut Street (formerly numbered 16-18 South Chestnut Street), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
BEING FURTHER identified as Tax Parcel #17-23-0565-245.
BEING THE SAME premises which Alexandra J. Matthews, by her deed dated June 15, 2007
and recorded on July 5, 2007, in Deed Book 280, Page 4230, granted and conveyed unto Justin
A. Szurgot, Grantor herein.
TOGETHER with all and singular the buildings, improvements, ways, wood, waters,
watercourses, rights, liberties privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in anywise appertaining; thence the reversion and reversions, remainder and
remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and of every part and parcel thereof.
AND the said grantor does hereby Warrant Specially the property hereby conveyed.
