MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SEWER/WATER RATES
NOW COMES the Borough of Mechanicsburg Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, by its attorney Lisa Marie Coyne, Esquire, and files the within claim
for charges assessed with respect to sewer and /or refuse rates against above
named owner or owners and against the hereinafter described real estate as
follows:
STATEMENT OF CLAIM
1. This claim is filed by the Borough of Mechanicsburg, a borough organized
and existing in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.
2. The owner or reputed owner of the property, or party or parties
responsible or liable, for which this claim is filed is the Defendant(s).
3. The authority under which the sewer and/or refuse rates were changed
and assessed is the Act of July 18, 1935, P.L. 1286, Section 1, 53 P.S. § 2231,
as amended.
4. Plaintiff has made demands for payment for services; however,
Defendant(s) have not made payments for the services provided.
5. The authority under which this claim is filed is the Act of May 16, 1923
P.L. 207, Section 9, et seq., 53P.S. §7143, as amended.

6. A description of the property against which this claim is filed is:
1102 Charles Street

Cumberland County
Pennsylvania 17055

7. This claim has not been the subject of any previous claim and judgment
in the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County for sewer and/or
refuse charges.
8. The total amount of the charges for which this claim is filed is
eight hundred ninety and 55/100 dollars ($890.55), plus costs and reasonable
attorney's fees.
9. The time period for which these charges are filed is April 1, 2011 to June 30,
2012 on
Sewer Account 6140-0.
WHEREFORE, Claimant requests that a Municipal Lien be entered in its
favor and against the Defendant in the amount of eight hundred ninety and
55/100 dollars ($890.55), plus cost and reasonable attorney's fees.

Made the I`t+h day of JULY, 1994,
BETWEEN RODNEY L. BOOK and CHRISTINA A. BOOK, his wife,
Party(s) of the First Part, hereinafter designated as the Orantor(s),
AND
PATRICIA M. HIRSCH, single woman, Party of the Second Part, hereinafter
designated as the Grantee.
WITNESSETH, that the Grantor(s) for and in consideration' of ONE
HUNDRED FIVE THOUSAND AND 00!100-(5105,000.00)-Dollars, lawful money of the
United States of America, to the Grantor(s) in hand well and truly paid by the Grantee(s), at or
before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
and the Grantor(s) being therewith fully satisfied, do by these presents grant, bargain, sell and
convey unto the Grantee(s) forever.
ALL THAT CERTAIN Lot 23, Section "D" in Plan No. 1, of Orchard
Crest, in the Borough of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, as shown on the
survey dated August 10, 1961, by W. G. Rechel, R.E., more particularly bounded and described
as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point eighty (80) feet in an easterly direction along the
southerly side of Charles Street, from the northeast corner of the intersection of Charles Street
and Henry Street; thence continuing along the southerly side of Charles Street, north sixty-six
(66) degrees forty-three (43) minutes east, eighty (80) feet to a point; thence south twenty-one
(21) degrees thirteen (13) minutes east, along the division line between lots twenty-two (22) and
twenty-three (23) Section "D", one hundred forty (140) feet to a point; thence south sixty-six
(66) degrees forth-three (43) minutes west, eighty (80) feet to a point; thence north twenty-one
(21) degrees thirteen (13) minutes west, along the division line between lots twenty-three (23)
and twenty-four (24), Section "D", one.hundred forty (140) feet to a point, the place of
BEGINNING.
HAVING THEREON erected a dwelling being ]mown as 1102 Charles Street,

BffiVG the same premises which Frank A. Rushong, Jr. and Elizabeth L.
Rushong, his wife, by Deed dated April 10, 1990 and recorded at the Recorder of Deeds Office
in Cumberland County on April 12, 1990 in Deed Book 34-M, Page 970, scanted and conveyed
unto Rodney L. Book and Christina A. Book, his wife, Grantors herein.
TOGETHER with all and singular the buildings, improvements, ways,
woods, waters, watercourses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances to
the same belonging or in anywise appertaining; and the reversion and reversions, remainder and
remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof, and of every part and parcel thereof; AND
ALSO all the estate, right, title, interest, use, possession, property, claim and demand
whatsoever of the Grantor(s) both in law and in equity, of, in and to the premises herein
described and every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances. TO HAVE AND TO
HOLD all and singular the premises herein described together with the hereditaments and
appurtenances unto the Grantee(s) and to the Grantees' proper use and benefit forever.
AND the Grantor(s) covenant that, except as may be herein set forth, they do
and will forever specially warrant and defend the lands and premises, hereditaments and
appurtenances hereby conveyed, against the Grantor(s) and all other persons lawfully claiming
the same or to claim the same or any part thereof, by, from or under it, them or any of them.
In all references herein to any parties, persons, entities or corporations, the use
of any particular gender or plural or singular number is intended to include the appropriate
gender or number as the text of the within instrument may require.
Wherever in this instrument any party shall be designated or referred to by
name or general reference, such designation is intended to and shall have the same effect as if
the words "heirs, executors administrators, personal or legal representatives, successors and
assigns' had been inserted after each and every such designation.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor(s) have hereunto set their hand(s)
and seal(s) or if a corporation, it has caused these presents to be signed by its proper corporate
officers and its corporate seal to be affixed hereto, the day and year first above written.
