KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that FIRST CHRISTIAN
CHURCH, of 442 Hummel Avenue, Lemoyne, PA 17043, does hereby acknowledge
that First Christian Church has received from George B. Hankins and Paul Gordon
Harvey, Co-Executors of the Estate of Margaret E. Miller, late of Mechanicsburg,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00),
as a specific bequest under the Last Will and Testament of Margaret E. Miller, and upon
approval of the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return by the Department of Revenue and
payment of all debts, inheritance and income taxes, First Christian Church will receive
the proceeds from the sale of rings in the amount of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars
($350.00) as well as one-fourth (1/4) of the residue of the estate, in full settlement of
any claim or claims that First Christian Church may have by, under and because of the
Will of the late Margaret E. Miller.
AND, THEREFORE, FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH, intending to be legally
bound hereby, does, by these presents, remise, release, quit-claim and forever discharge
George B. Hankins and Paul Gordon Harvey, as Co-Executors of the Estate of Margaret
E. Miller, deceased, their heirs and assigns, of and from all actions, accounts, claims and
demands whatsoever, related to the administration of this Estate.
FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH, has been duly advised of its right to have
George B. Hankins and Paul Gordon Harvey, Co-Executors, file with the Orphans'
Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County an Accounting of
the services they have rendered, and the Church hereby specifically waives its right to
have such an Accounting presented to the Court.
