Dear Judge Placey:
Pursuant to the Petition to Settle Small Estate filed with the Orphans' Court for the above
referenced estate on June 13, 2012, the only asset in this estate is a life insurance policy in the
amount of $5,000.00. Since life insurance is anon-probate asset, no estate will be opened for
this matter. Life insurance is anon-taxable asset; therefore, no inheritance tax is due.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me.
