ESTATE SETTLEMENT AND FINAL RELEASE h::
ESTATE OF LENA DAHL DECEASED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that Lena Dahl, also known as Lena F. Dahl,
late of the Borough of New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, deceased, died
intestate on May 26, 2011;
WHEREAS, Letters of Administration on the Estate of the said decedent were duly issued
by the Register of Wills of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, to Charles R. Dahl, as
Administrator of the Estate, hereinafter called personal representative;
WHEREAS, Charles R. Dahl, son of the decedent, is the sole and only heir of Lena Dahl,
decedent; and
WHEREAS, the personal representative has gathered the assets of the Estate of the said
decedent to his satisfaction as both personal representative and the sole heir.
NOW, THEREFORE, Charles R. Dahl, being the sole and only heir of the Estate of the
decedent, and being the only person entitled to inherit from said decedent, does hereby
acknowledge that he has this day had and received from the aforesaid personal representative, in
full satisfaction and payment of all sums of money, legacies, bequests, and devises as are given, the
amounts due to him pursuant to said Estate, including title to the real estate located at 317 Fifth
Avenue in the Borough of New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; and, does
hereby stipulate that in order to avoid the expense and time involved in the filing of a formal
account and schedule of distribution, I agree that no account is necessary and I do hereby agree that
I do consent to distribution being made without the filing of an account and schedule of
distribution, the same to be with the same force and effect as if they had been filed and confirmed
by the Orphans' Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania.
THEREFORE, I do hereby remise, release, quitclaim and forever discharge the said
personal representative, Charles R. Dahl, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, of and
from the said estate and from all actions, suits, payments, accounts, reckonings, claims, and
demands whatsoever for or by reason thereof, or for any other use, matter, cause or thing
whatsoever, touching upon the Estate of the said decedent, and I do further hereby covenant and
agree that should any liability come due to the estate of the said decedent after the signing of this
Agreement, I do hereby covenant and agree that I will contribute to the Estate to satisfy any and all
claims, demands, suits, or causes of action which may be successfully prosecuted against the said
Estate or the aforesaid personal representative after the signing, sealing and delivery of this Estate
Settlement Agreement and Final Release.
FURTHER, I hereby acknowledge and confirm that I shall be solely and personally
responsible for payment of all Pennsylvania inheritance tax due on the Estate of the decedent, as
well as all reasonable and just administrative expenses, including attorneys fees, and shall make
payment thereof promptly upon demand.
