EMERGENCY PRELIMINARY DECREE
AND NOW, this 13~ da of

consideration of the annexed Emergency Petition for Adjudication of Incapacity and the
Appointment of a Guardian of the Person of Russell Lee Zimmerman, it is hereby
ORDERED AND DECREED that:
1. The hearing to be held in Courtroom No. ~ ~~ ,Cumberland
County Courthouse, One Courthouse Square, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013 on the

2. The contents and terms of the Emergency Petition shall be explained to
the maximum extent possible in language and terms Mr. Zimmerman is most likely to
understand. An Affidavit detailing the methods of service and adherence to service
requirements shall be presented at the beginning of the court hearing.
3. In accordance with 20 Pa. C.S. §5511(a), all persons who are sui juris
residing in the Commonwealth, the institution providing residential services to the
alleged incapacitated person, shall be served with notice of the Emergency Petition and
hearing in advance of said hearing and shall be served in such manner as the Court
shall direct:

Affidavit detailing the methods of service and adherence to service requirements shall
be presented at the beginning of the court hearing.
4. In accordance with the provisions of 20 Pa. C.S. §5511(a), Russell Lee
Zimmerman shall be present at the court hearing unless it is established that his
physical or mental condition would be harmed by his presence.
