1. P1 ' 1tiff, Dickinson College, is a Pennsylvania educational institution and nonprofit
corporation with] i principal place of business at West Street, Post Office Box 1773, Cazlisle,
Cumberland Caun ,Pennsylvania 17013.
2. Def hdant, Britney L. Hines, is an adult individual with a last known address of 804-
806 South Street; 3 Floor, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania 19147.
3. Oin ~r about October 25, 2005, Defendant entered into a Promissory Nate (Note) with
Plaintifffor the f'', ing of $13,000.00, plus interest and costs, for educational services and benefits
at Plaintiff's inst~ ion. A copy of the Note is attached hereto as Exhibit "A."
4. The ,.,Note is a fund created under Part E of Title IV of the Higher Education Act of
1965 as amended (hereinafter the "Act") and is subject to the Act and the Federal Regulations issued
under the Act. !,
5. As rovided in the Act, Plaintiff acts in a fiduciary capacity in the handling,
disbursing and cbll Cting of funds associated with the programs under the Act.
6. The principal for the Note was $13,000.00.
7. The~lote grants Plaintiffreasonable collection and attorneys' fees which Plaintiffhas
calculated to be ffi2~000.00.
8. Ads ~f May 31, 2012, the principal and interest due and payable by Defendant to
Plaintiff was $1~,4~16.33 with interest accruing at 5% per annum.
9. Plai~~tiffhas fulfilled, performed and complied with all obligations and conditions of
the Note.

$2,000.00 and cost of suit.
