c-onside~tion of the Petition for appointment for the guardian
of the estate filed in the above-captioned matter, Stephanie M.
Ritter and Pamela Davies Smith are hereby appointed co-guardians
of the estate of a minor child to serve without bond.
Further, Jorge M. Augusto is hereby appointed
successor co-guardian, to serve without bond, if Stephanie M.
Ritter becomes unwilling or unable to serve as co-guardian prior
to the obtainment of Helena Martins Augusto's age of majority.
Co-guardians are directed, where it is in the best
interests of the estate, to follow the terms of the trust under
the will of Adamadia Deforest for the distribution of any non-
probate asset, and if prudent incorporate but not merge unless
approved by the court the non-probate assets into the trust. In
the alternative, the assets may be retained in inherited tax-
deferred retirement accounts naming the minor as beneficiary, if
doing so would minimize income tax liabilities that would
otherwise be imposed upon the assets. In either case a report of
account creation or trust deposit shall be reported to the court
within 30 days of receipt of any funds. Upon reaching the age
of majority, Helena Martins Augusto may petition the Court for
release of any non-probate asset money upon good cause shown.
The co-guardians are hereby authorized to pay their
attorneys fee to James D. Cameron, Esquire, in the amount of
$750, as well as any filing fees from the principal of the
guardianship estate.
