hereby state that on December 31, 2012, my office located a telephone number through the
white pages for Russell D. Shurtleff, one of the witnesses on the Last Will and Testament
of Robert W. Von Bergen. Our office called that telephone number, and that telephone
number was no longer the telephone number for the law office of Russell D. Shurtleff, but
was a district office number, and Ms. Charman who was the person who answered the
telephone indicated that Russell D. Shurtleff was no longer at that number since he was a
Judge for the Common Pleas Court, and she further stated that she knew of Jean D. Mack,
the other witness on the Von Bergen Will, and that Jean D. Mack was in the Lithia Valley
Personal Care Home since she is up in years. Due to these circumstances, I felt it would be
better to have two witnesses who knew the signature of Robert W. Von Bergen witness his
Will.
