For dates of death on or after July 1, 1994 and before Jan. 1, 1995, the tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the surviving
spouse is 3 percent [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.1) (i)].
For dates of death on or after January 1, 1995, the tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the surviving spouse is 0 percent
[72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.1) (ii)]. The statute does not exempt a transfer to a surviving spouse from tax, and the statutory requirements for disclosure of
assets and filing a tax return are still applicable even if the surviving spouse is the only beneficiary.
For dates of death on or after July 1, 2000:
• The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers from a deceased child 21 years of age or younger at death to or for the use of a natural parent, an
adoptive parent, or a stepparent of the child is 0 percent [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.2)].
• The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's lineal beneficiaries is 4.5 percent, except as noted in
72 P.S. §9116 1.2) [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1 )].
• The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's siblings is 12 percent [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.3)1. A
sibling is defined under Section 9102, as an individual who has at least one parent in common with the decedent, w ether by blood or adoption.

Pennsylvania, dated December 5, 1952, and recorded in the Recorder of Deeds Office at
Carlisle, Pennsylvania in Plan Book No. 5, page 51, as follows: Beginning at a point on the
north side of Wentworth Drive fifty (50) feet wide, said point being twenty four and seventy eight
hundredths (24.78) feet west of intersection of the west side of Twenty First Street fifty (50) feet
wide and the north side of Wentworth Drive (if both lines were extended to intersect), thence
along the north side of said Wentworth Drive southwest a distance of sixty five and twenty two
hundredths (65.22) feet to a point at Lct Nc. 27, thence along the line of said Lot No. 27,
northwest at right angles to Wentworth Drive a distance of ninety and seventy nine hundredths
(90.79) feet to a point at Lot No. 38, thence along the line of said Lot No. 38 northeast at right

Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former
Wills by me at any time heretofore made.
1. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be
fully paid and satisfied by my hereinafter named Executor as
soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
2. I give, devise and bequeath all my stocks, bonds and
other securities, and bank accounts, and I give and devise all
my real estate unto my beloved husband, Roland O. White. Should
my husband, Roland O. White, predecease me or die at the same
time as I, then I give and bequeath all my stocks, bonds and
other securities, and bank accounts, and I give and devise all
my real estate unto my two sons, Jeffrey R. White and Owen Scott
White, share and share alike.
3. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real,
personal and mixed, I give, devise and bequeath unto my beloved
husband, Roland O. White. Should my husband, Roland O. white,
predecease me or die at the same time as I, then all the rest,
residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal and mixed, 1
give, devise and bequeath unto my two sons, Jeffery R. White and
Owen Scott White, share and share alike.
4. I name, constitute and appoint my husband, Roland O.
White, as Executor of this, my Last Will and Testament. Should
he for any reason be unable or unwilling to act, then I name,
constitute and appoint my son, Jeffery R. White, as Executor.
Should he for any reason be unable or unwilling to act, then I
name, constitute and appoint my son, Owen Scott White, as
Executor.
5. I direct that no fiduciary acting hereunder shall be
required to give any bond or enter any security in any
jurisdiction in which such fiduciary may act.
