The Township of Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, files its
claim in the amount of Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-five and 00/100
($11,285.00) Dollars, as of January 31 2013 and sets forth in support thereof the
following:
1. Claimant is the Township of Shippensburg, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, with its principal office located at 81 Walnut Bottom Road, P.O. Box 219,
Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17257.
2. Lisa T. Shedlosky and Tod G. Shedlosky are the owners of the property
against which this Municipal Lien is filed and whose last known address is 6346 N.
Powderhorn Road, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17050.
3. The property against which this Municipal Lien is filed is all that tract of
land with improvements thereon situated in the Township of Shippensburg, County of
Cumberland, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being identified as Lot No. 2 on a Plan of
Lots for T/L Shedlosky, dated June 6, 2005 and recorded April 4, 2006 in the Office of
the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County, at Plan Book 92, Page 46, being
located at Airport and Conestoga Roads, Shippensburg Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, and bearing Cumberland County Tax Parcel No. 36-12-320-051.
4. The authority under which this Lien is filed is the Municipal Claims Act of
1923, P.L. 207, as amended (53 P.S. §7101, et seq).
5. This Municipal Lien is filed to secure an interest in the costs for completing
the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Airport and Conestoga Roads as
required in the approved Plan of Lots for T/L Shedlosky, dated June 6, 2005, and
recorded on April 4, 2006 in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland

County, in Plan Book 92, Page 46, which costs were paid out of pocket by the Township
as detailed on invoice number 12128 from Atlantic Transportation Systems, Inc.
attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A".
6. The Township undertook this completion only after giving Defendants
numerous notices and opportunities to do so themselves, and determined that the
completion was necessary to alleviate a risk to the health, safety and welfare of its
citizens created by this incomplete installation, authority for such action being granted
to the Township by the Second Class Township Code of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code and
Ordinance 2008-05, the Shippensburg Township Subdivision and Land Development
Ordinance.
WHEREFORE for all the above reasons, the Township of Shippensburg hereby
does place a lien against the said property in the amount of $11,285.00.
