COMPLAINT
The Plaintiff, NOLAND COMPANY, by its attorneys, KNUPP, KODAK & IMBLUM, P .C., brings this action of
Assumpsit against the Defendants to recover the sum of ELEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE
DOLLARS AND FIFTEEN CENTS ($11,539.15), along with interest thereon from September 26,2004 upon a cause of
action of which the following is a statement:
1. The Plaintiff, NOLAND COMPANY, is a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of
Maryland, having its principal office and place of business at 209-213 Chinquapin Road, Annapolis, Maryland 21401.
2. The Defendant, WILLIAM C. KNOCHE, is an adult individual trading and doing business as KNOCHE
MECHANICAL with an address of 218 Birch Lane, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17013.
3. On or about April 12, 2004, Defendant did submit an Application for Commercial Credit to Plaintifffor the
future purchase of certain supplies and materials. Said Application is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part
hereof.
4. On the dates, in the amounts, and for the prices set forth in a true and correct copy of the Plaintiffs Statement
of Account hereto attached, marked Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof, Plaintiff, at the special instance and oral request
of the Defendant, sold and delivered goods, wares and merchandise of the kind and description set forth on said Exhibit to
the total amount of Nine Thousand, Six Hundred Fifteen Dollars and Ninety-Six Cents ($9,615.96).

5. The prices charged for said goods, wares and merchandise were just and reasonable, were the legal and
market prices therefor and were the prices which the Defendants orally promised and agreed to pay to Plaintiff.
6. Due to the default of Defendant, and pursuant to the tenns and conditions of the Credit Application executed
by Defendant at Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, attorney's fees in the total amount of One Thousand, Nine Hundred
Twenty-Three Dollars and Nineteen Cents ($1,923.19) have been added to said account.
7. Plaintiff frequently demanded payment from Defendant of said amount due and owing as aforesaid, but
Defendant refused and neglected and still refuses and neglects to pay said amount of any part thereof.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff brings this suit to recover from Defendants the sum of ELEVEN THOUSAND, FNE
HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE DOLLARS AND FIFTEEN CENTS ($11,539.15), along with interestthereon from September
26, 2004 .
