DECREE AWARDING REAL ESTATE
AND NOW, this day of , 2013, upon consideration of
the Petition of Paul D. McNew, Jr., in his capacity as Administrator c.t.a. of the Estate of
Mary G. Stum, and upon motion of Wayne F. Shade, Esquire, attorney for the said Paul
D. McNew, Jr., and pursuant to § 3534 of the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code of
1972, as amended, the entire fee simple interest in the real estate hereinafter described is
awarded to Paul D. McNew, Jr.:
ALL THAT CERTAIN piece or parcel of land, with improvements thereon
erected, situate in the Township of Dickinson, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, more
particularly bounded and described, as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at a spike in the centerline of Township Road No. 467, at line of
land now or formerly of Clyde E. Brenner; thence along the centerline of said Township
Road, South 75 degrees 48 minutes West, 125 feet to a spike in the centerline of the said
road at line of lands now or formerly of John R. McKeehan, et ux; thence along the line
of the land now or formerly of the latter, North 14 degrees 12 minutes West, 172.96 feet
to a stake at the line of the southern edge of the right-of-way of Interstate Highway Road
No. 81; thence along the line of the latter, North 65 degrees 36 minutes East, 101.45 feet
to a stake; thence along the line of land now or formerly of Clyde E. Brenner, South 21
degrees 39 minutes 50 seconds East, 192.48 feet to a spike at the Point of BEGINNING.
CONTAINING.475 acres.
BEING the same premises which Mary G. Stum, formerly Mary G.L. White, by
Deed dated September 12, 1974, and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in Deed Book "U", Volume 25, Page 238, granted
and conveyed unto Paul R. Stum and Mary G. Stum, husband and wife. The said Paul R.
Stum departed this life on August 18, 1997, whereby the entire fee simple interest in said
premises became vested in the said Mary G. Stum as surviving tenant by the entirety.
THIS transfer is exempt from Pennsylvania realty transfer taxes as a transfer for
no consideration by testate succession from a personal representative of a decedent to the
sole testamentary heir of the decedent.
