ESTATE OF JOSHUA M. BAER
1. Joshua M. Baer, age 21, died on September 8, 2012, leaving no known Last Will
and Testament.
2. Joshua M. Baer, at the time of his death, resided with his mother, Teresa S. Baer
(the Petitioner herein) and grandmother at 1045 Brentwater Road, East Pennsboro Township,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
3. The decedent never married and has no children.
4. The decedent is survived by his parents, Teresa S. Baer, his mother, the Petitioner
herein, with whom he resided, and his father, Lloyd E. Baer.
5. Lloyd E. Baer is presently serving a sentence of imprisonment in the
Pennsylvania State Correctional System and is housed at SCI-Laurel Highlands in Somerset,
Pennsylvania. He is, therefore, unavailable to serve in the capacity as administrator of his
deceased son's estate.
6. Lloyd E. Baer has an extensive criminal history, including multiple convictions
for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under suspension, fleeing or attempting to flee
an officer, as well as other convictions for possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a
controlled substance, retail theft, and simple assault, and, therefore, is not appropriate to serve as
administrator of his son's estate.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that she be appointed administrator of the
estate of her deceased son, Joshua M. Baer.
