COMPLAINT FOR CUSTODY
1. The Plaintiff is Lloyd Shoemaker III, residing at 91 Ridge Road, Newville,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17241.
2. The Defendant is Maria Verdekal, residing at 1435 Three Square Hollow
Road, Newburg, Pennsylvania 17240.
3. The Plaintiff seeks custody of the following child, Camden C. Verdekal,
born March 5, 2004.
4. The child was born out of wedlock.
The child is presently in the custody of his Father who resides at 91
Ridge Road, Newville, Pennsylvania.
During the past five years, the child has resided with the following
persons and at the following addresses:

The mother of the child is Maria Verdekel, currently residing at 1435

The father of the child is Lloyd Shoemaker III, currently residing at 91
Ridge Road, Newville, Pennsylvania 17241. He is single.
The relationship of the Plaintiff to the child is that of Father. The Plaintiff
currently resides with the following person(s): Deborah Shoemaker and
Curtis Rauch, Jr.
6. The relationship of the Defendant to the child is that of Mother. The

Defendant currently resides with the following person(s): Jamie Rhone.
7. Plaintiff has not participated as a party or witness, or in any other
capacity in other litigation concerning the custody of the child in this or
another jurisdiction.
8. The Plaintiff has no information of a custody proceeding concerning the
children pending in a court of the Commonwealth.
9. The Plaintiff does not know of a person not a party to the proceedings
who has physical custody of the child or claims to have custody or
visitation rights with respect to the child.
10. The best interest and permanent welfare of the child will be served by
granting the relief requested because:
a) The Plaintiff can best provide for the physical and
emotional needs of the child.
11. Each parent whose parental rights to the child has not
been terminated and the person who has physical custody of the child
has been named as parties to this action.
WHEREFORE, the Plaintiff requests this Court to grant primary physical
custody of the child to the Plaintiff.

, upon consideration of the attached Complaint,
it is hereby directed that parties and their respective counsel appear before Jacqueline M. Verney, Esq. , the conciliator,
at 4th Floor, Cumberland County Courthouse, Carlisle on Friday, December 03, 2004 at 10:30 AM
for a Pre-Hearing Custody Conference. At such conference, an effort will be made to resolve the issues in dispute; or
if this cannot be accomplished, to define and narrow the issues to be heard by the court, and to enter into a temporary
order. All children age five or older may also be present at the conference. Failure to appear at the conference may
provide grounds for entry of a temporary or permanent order.
The court hereby directs the parties to furnish any and all existing: Protection from Abuse orders,
Special Relief orders, and Custody orders to the conciliator 48 hours prior to scheduled hearin!!.

STIPULATION OF COUNSEL
The parties hereto are Lloyd Shoemaker III who resides at 91 Ridge
Road, Newville, Cumberland County, Pennnsylvania 17241, hereinafter
Shoemaker and Maria Verdekal residing at 1435 Three Square Hollow Road,
Newburg, Pennsylvania 17240, hereinafter Verdekal.
1. The parties are parents of Camden C. Verdekal born March 5,
2004.
2. The parties will share legal custody of Camden. Shoemaker
shall have physical custody of the child and Verdekal shall
have partial custody on the following schedule:
a. Every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., provided,
however, that on five Sundays per year, Shoemaker, with
two weeks notice to Verdekal, may keep custody of the
child for Sunday so as to have a weekend with the child.
b. One evening per week, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The
weekday may be decided between the parties and if they
cannot agree then the weekday shall be Friday.
c. On Christmas Eve from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
3. The parties will share transportation with the receiving party
picking up the child at the home of the parent having custody.
However, Shoemaker will provide transportation for pick up and
delivery until he provides two weeks notice to Verdekal that he
wishes to return to a shared transportation arrangement.
4. The parties shall transport the child at all times in a safe car
seat suitable for the child at his age.
5. Both parties shall have a valid driver's license and will transport
the child only in a vehicle covered by insurance.
6. The parties intend that this Stipulation of Counsel be entered
as an order of court and authorize their attorneys to sign this
stipulation their behalf.
