MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SEWER /WATER RATES
NOW COMES the Borough of Mechanicsburg Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, by its attorney Lisa Marie Coyne, Esquire, and files the within claim
for charges assessed with respect to sewer and /or refuse rates against above
named owner or owners and against the hereinafter described real estate as
follows:
STATEMENT OF CLAIM
1. This claim is filed by the Borough of Mechanicsburg, a borough organized
and existing in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.
2. The owner or reputed owner of the property, or party or parties
responsible or liable, for which this claim is filed is the Defendant(s).
3. The authority under which the sewer and /or refuse rates were changed
and assessed is the Act of July 18, 1935, P.L. 1286, Section 1, 53 P.S. § 2231,
as amended.
4. Plaintiff has made demands for payment for services; however,
Defendant(s) have not made payments for the services provided.
S. The authority under which this claim is filed is the Act of May 16, 1923
P.L. 207, Section 9, et sea ., 53P.S. §7143, as amended.

6. A description of the property against which this claim is filed is:
118 East Portland Street
Borough of Mechanicsburg
Cumberland County
Pennsylvania 17055
TAX PARCEL NUMBER 18 -22- 0519 -103
7. This claim has not been the subject of any previous claim and judgment
in the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County for sewer and /or
refuse charges.
8. The total amount of the charges for which this claim is filed is
five hundred seventy eight dollars and fifty five cents ($578.55), plus costs and
reasonable attorney's fees.
9. The time period for which these charges are filed is April 1, 2012 to March 31,
2013 on Sewer and Refuse Account 3247 -0.
WHEREFORE, Claimant requests that a Municipal Lien be entered in its
favor and against the Defendant in the amount of five hundred seventy eight
dollars and fifty five cents ($578.55), plus cost and reasonable attorney's fees.

This Indenture made the 19th day of November, 2009,

RONALD F. NEY AND DARLENE M. NEY, HUSBAND AND WIFE,
(hereinafter called the Grantors), of the one part, and
WILLIAM GILBERT SOCKMAN, JR., SINGLE PERSON,
(hereinafter called the Grantee), of the other part,
Witnesseth that the said Grantors for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Forty Two
Thousand Dollars 00 /100 ($142,000.00) lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well
and truly paid by the said Grantee, at or before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, released and confirmed, and by these presents do
grant, bargain and sell, release and confirm unto the said Grantee, as sole owner
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or parcel of land situate in the Borough of Mechanicsburg,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described in accordance with a survey
and plan thereof made by D. P. Reffensperger, Registered Surveyor, dated November 27,
1964, as follows, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point on the South side of East Portland Street, said point being 228.5
feet West of Race Street; thence extending along premises }mown as 122 East Portland
Street being land N/F of Clara Basom South 7 degrees 30 minutes East, 160.5 feet to an
iron pin on the North line of a 20 foot wide alley, thence along said alley South 82
degrees 30 minutes West, 36 feet to an iron pin and a comer of premises (mown as No.
116 East Portland Street; thence along said premises being land N/F of Clarence W.
Myers, North 7 degrees 30 minutes West, 160.5 feet to a point on the South side of East
Portland Street; thence along the same North 82 degrees 30 minutes East, 36 feet to the
point and place of BEGINNING.
HAVING THEREON ERECTED a two story frame dwelling and other improvements
and being known and numbered as 118 East Portland Street, Mechanicsburg,
Pennsylvania.

BEING THE SAEM PREMISES which Edward Vance Lucas and Joyce Ilene Lucas,
his wife, by Deed dated August 8, 1975, and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds in and for Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in Book 26 E, Page 644, granted
and conveyed unto Ronald F. Ney and Darlene M. Ney, his wife, Grantors herein.
Together with all and singular the buildings and improvements, ways, streets, alleys, driveways,
passages, waters, water - courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances, whatsoever
unto the hereby granted premises belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversions and
remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof-, and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and
demand whatsoever of them, the said grantors, as well at law as in equity, of, in and to the same.
To have and to hold the said lot or piece of ground described above, with the buildings and
improvements thereon erected, hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so
to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use
and behoof of the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns, forever.
And the said Grantors, for themselves and their heirs, executors and administrators, do, by these
presents, covenant, grant and agree, to and with the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns, that they, the said
Grantors, and their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein described and granted, or
mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns,
against them, the said Grantors, and their heirs, and against all and every other person and persons
whosoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, shall and will
Warrant and Forever Defend.
