CIVIL ACTION -LAW JENNIFER REDDINGTON, Defendant JURY TRIAL DEMANDED COMPLAINT I The Plaintiff, Cynthia Reddington, is an adult individual residing at 302 West First Street, Boiling Springs, PA 17007, and is the guardian of Katelyn Reddington-Lepore, date of birth 6110195. 2. The Defendant, Jennifer Reddington, is an adult individual residing at 401 Eiserfliower Drive, Carlisle, PA 17013. 3. On May 13, 2011, the Defendant was the operator of a 2003 Buick Regal bearing Pennsylvania,-license plate FJZ-5739, which was owned by and used with the pen-nission of Terrance Reddington. 4. On May 13, 2011, at approximately 6:10 p.m., the Defendant was operating her vehicle westbound on W. Lisburn Road approaching the intersection of Williams Grove Road in Monroe Township with the Minor Plaintiff as a passenger when she failed to stop for a steady red traffic control signal, entered the intersection, and collided with a vehicle travelling south on Williams Grove Road resulting in.injuries and damages to the Minor Plaintiff. DALE ANsrsivin,P.C. 5. This accident occurred as a result of the negligence of the Defendant and was due in no manner to any act, or failure to act, on the part of the Minor Plaintiff. 6. This matter is alleged to exceed the applicable limits of arbitration, and a jury trial is hereby demanded. 7. The negligence of the Defendant consisted of the following: a) Failing to properly operate and control her motor vehicle; b) Operating her motor vehicle with careless disregard for the safety of others, and the Plaintiff in particular, in violation of 75 Pa.C.S. §3714; C) Operating her vehicle too fast for the conditions then and there existing, in violation of 75 Pa.C.S. §3361; and d) Failing to stop her vehicle for a steady red traffic control signal in violation of 75 Pa.C.S. §3112(a)(3)(i). S. As a result of the negligence of the Defendant, the Minor Plaintiff suffered serious and permanent injuries, including but not limited to, neck and back injury, left hip injury, left knee injury, concussion, multiple abrasions, thigh lacerations, facial lacerations, and a severe shock to her nerves and nervous system. 9. As a result of the negligence of the Defendant, the Minor Plaintiff was forced to incur medical bills and expenses for the injuries she has suffered, and she will continue to incur medical expenses in the future. 10. As a result of the negligence of the Defendant, the Minor Plaintiff has undergone, and in the future may undergo, great mental and physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, embarrassment and humiliation, loss of life's pleasures, scarring and disfigurement, and a severe limitation in her pursuit of daily activities, all to her great loss and detriment.
