All of the proposed appointees have agreed to serve for the term expiring the I't Monday of January, 2014. 4. Pursuant to Section 2675 of the Pennsylvania Election Code, 25 P.S. § 2675, no appointment shall be made unless notice of the hearing to consider such appointment shall be provided to electors by the posting of such notice at the district polling place, and in the immediate vicinity, at least five days prior thereto. 5. The Board also requests the opportunity at such hearing to propose appointments in the event any vacancies in district election boards shall occur between the date of filing this Petition and the date of the hearing to be scheduled by this Court, provided the Board complies with the required notice described in paragraph 4. WHEREFORE, the Petitioner, Cumberland County Board of Elections, by and through its Solicitor, Edward L. Schorpp, Esquire, respectfully prays that this Honorable Court to enter an Order directing the posting of the affected polling places and scheduling a hearing in the within matter; and upon hearing, to enter an appropriate Order appointing persons to fill such vacancies.
