Re: Estate of Richard B. Russell,Jr.
D ar Gentlepersons,
Enclosed please find the status report in regards to the above referenced Estate of
Richard B. Russell, Jr. File No. 2011-00617. 1 apologize in the delay in sending this to you. I had
thought that it had previously been sent. However, my staff person who was handling the file
with me, stuck it in with paperwork to appoint the successor to the former administrix of the
Estate,Juanita Russell. Mrs. Russell died on September 2, 2012.
Hopefully, we will have this Estate settled in a year. The only asset is Richard B. Russell,
Jr's., interest in the estate of his sister, Linda Russell, which consists of two parcels of land in
Chemung County, New York. I was about to commence proceedings in the Surrogate's Court of
Chemung County, New York last fall when I discovered that Mrs. Russell has died. Thus I am
without a party to represent until a successor to her has been appointed.
