The statute does not exemot a transfer to a surviving spouse from tax, and the statutory requirements for disclosure of assets and filing a tax return are still applicable even if
the surviving spouse is the only beneficiary. .
For dates of death on or after July 1, 2000:
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers from a deceased child twenty-one years of age or younger at death to or for the use of a natural parent, an adoptive parent,
or a stepparent of the child is 0% [72 P.S. 99116(a)(1.2)].
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's lineal beneficiaries is 4.5%, except as noted in 72 P.S. 99116(1.2) [72 P.S. 99116(a)(1)].
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's siblings is 12% [72 P.S. 99116(a)(1.3)]. A sibling is defined, under Section 9102, as an
individual who has at least one parent in common with the decedent, whether by blood or adoption.

of the Estate of Glenn L. Souder, Deceased, having been duly filed and advertised according to
law and rules of court, and that said Account was duly confirmed and said Schedule of Proposed
Distribution duly approved by this Court on October 11,2005; and it further appearing that said
Administratrix has proposed in said Schedule of Proposed Distribution to distribute certain of
Decedent's interest in real estate in kind to herself and her and Decedent's children, as the
beneficiaries of Decedent's Estate, and said Court having decreed distribution in accordance with
said Schedule of Proposed Distribution;
IT IS ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that all right, title and interest of the
said Glenn L. Souder, Deceased, in and to the below described real estate, which said right, title
and interest, being an undivided one-half interest therein, is hereby awarded as follows: one-half
(112) thereof to Dorothy M. Souder, being an undivided one-fourth (114) interest in the whole of
the real estate, one-sixth (116) thereof to Larry E. Souder, being an undivided one-twelfth (1112)

in Monroe Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, more particularly bounded and
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the center of said Township Road in line of lands of J. P. Heisey
Estate; thence along the center of said public road South 72 % degrees West 10.3 perches to a
point; thence by the same South 85 Y2 degrees West 89.5 perches to a point; thence by the same
North 78 degrees West 12 perches to a point; thence by lands of Dale Spangler North 8 degrees
West 119.4 perches to a point; thence by the lands of Mrs. M. E. Brandt North 65 lf4 degrees East
30.95 perches; thence by lands of Mrs. M. E. Brandt and Wilbur Enck North 72 % degrees East

THE ABOVE described tract of farm land is less however two lots on the northeast comer of
Township Roads 559 and 560, the first of which was conveyed to J. Robert Gibney and wife by
Deed dated July 19, 1960 and recorded in Deed Book "Y", Vol. 19, Page 368, and the second of
which having a width of 1 00 feet having been conveyed to Chester H. Heisey and Mildred M.
Heisey by Deed dated the 2nd day of January, 1962 and recorded in Deed Book "K", Vol. 20,
Page 340.
BEING the same premises Glenn 1. Souder and Dorothy M. Souder, his wife, by their Deed
dated and recorded August 4, 1981 in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania in Deed Book "M", Vol. 29, Page 970 granted and conveyed unto Glenn
1. Souder and Dorothy M. Souder, as tenants in common, both with an undivided one-half (112)
interest.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED AND DIRECTED that a certified copy of this Decree shall
be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,
among the deeds recorded in said Office, said Decree to be indexed in the Grantor Index for
