I closed out the Aim Fund.
PBGC(Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation )has been concluded.
Note: PBGC took the longest to complete. My mother did not state a Beneficiary for the funds.
She thought the Will would cover this. PBGC has their own set of rules.
My siblings wanted the money to go to the Estate. It took several years to persuade and
convince them to let PBGC send the money owed them.
This has finally been completed.
One thing I have learned from all of this; no matter how small the Estate one is dealing with,you
can be faced with an incident like this. Also,the paperwork was challenging. I will never accept
a task like this again. .
