Date of Death: March 26, 2012
Dear Sir or Madam:
Please allow this letter to serve as a response to the
notices which were sent by the PA Department of Revenue to
Margaret S . Julius , Susan Wible and Sara Songy, copies of which
are enclosed. These notices indicate that inheritance taxes are
owing by the recipients as beneficiaries of two "in trust for"
accounts at Bank of America (account nos . 68100405576459 and
68100405576442) which were held by the decedent, Edwin A. Julius .
Although the decedent was an owner of the two trust accounts
and the named beneficiaries were his daughters, Susan Wible and
Sara Songy, his wife, Margaret S . Julius, was a joint owner of
the accounts . Margaret Julius survived the decedent, her
husband, and subsequently closed the accounts before her death.
Accordingly, there are no inheritance taxes owing since the
transfers upon the decedent' s death were to his spouse by right
of survivorship and not to the beneficiaries of the accounts .

The estate has filed an inheritance tax return but these
accounts were not required to be listed on the schedules since
they were accounts owned jointly by spouses .
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions .
Very truly yours,
