Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
Enclased please find the Inheritance Return for the Estate of Pearl Register
(File 2012-01242). The attached return includes all estate assets other than
the decedent's real properiy lucated at i407 Harwich Court New
Curnberland, PA 17470. With this fiiing, I am atso writing to ask for a
temparary suspension ofthe required Real Estate (Schedule A) infarmation
on the basis of ectraordinary circumstances. It is my intention ta pay the
inheritance ta and related penalty interest on this asset at the time of sale.
In the five years leading up to my mother's death, she pravided significant
care for her elder, unmarried sister{Age 90) wha resided in Camp Hill.
This eiderty wornan has na children and suffers from macuTar degeneration,
leaving her legally blind. In addition, with the passing of my mother, she
has na relative living withir►2 hours driving distance from Camp Hill.
Along with being the executor on my mother's estate, I am also the power of
attorney for my aunt (Ann Wilchacky).
In November 2012, Miss Witchacky sustained a bmken pelvis resulting
from a fail down a flight of stars at her home. She was hospitalized and
also spent approxinnately 6 weeks in a rehabilitatian faaility. As her power
of attorney, I have naw assumed respansibility for her care and at ihe time of
her discharge, I detenmitied her home was noi a safe place for a persan with

her medical candirions to reside alone. Although it was my plan to sell the
property at 140'7 Harvvich Court, I felt it provided a better living situation for
someone in rny aunYs situation and it was in the best interest of all parties
for my aunt to reside there until a rnore suitable "senior" living situation
could be located. These circumstances have prevented me from rimely
campletion af the real estate sale and filing of the associated Inheritance Tax
Schedule A.
As of this writing, my aunt is scheduled to move ta Bethany Village an
August 6'. Irnmediately following that move, the 1407 Harwich Court
property will be listed for sale and at the conclusian of that transaction, a
revised return witl be filed with a campleted Reat Estate ScheduIe A and
related inheritance tac and penalty interest payrnent.
I appreciate your consideration in this matter. Should you need to cantact
me for any clarificatian an this matter, I can be reached at 973141 OS I3.
Sincerely,
I 4l.A w * \,. GaL./.L:
