Please issue a Writ of Scire Facias to the Defendants, Cindy Rigg and Marc Houck, to file
an affidavit of defense of the claim, if defense they have thereto, within fifteen days after service
of the writ, concerning the following claim:
Township of Upper Allen, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, on
June 16, 2011, filed its claim in the Court of Common Pleas of
Cumberland County, at No. 11 -4963 MLD, for the sum of
$1,414.47, plus costs and interest, for charges assessed with respect
to sewer and/or water rates, from July 2007 through May 2011, for
the property situate at 2243 South Market Street, Mechanicsburg

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Cindy Rigg and Marc Houck, Greeting:
WHEREAS, the Township of Upper Allen, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, on June
16, 2011, filed its claim in our Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County, at No. 11 -4963
MLD, for the sum of $1,414.47, plus costs and interest, for charges assessed with respect to
sewer and/or water rates, from July 2007 to May 2011, for the property situate at 2243 South
Market Street, Mechanicsburg PA 17055 (Tax Parcel Number 42- 29- 2454 -118), owned or
reputed to be owned by you;
WHEREAS, the Township of Upper Allen has incurred $62.00 in costs to file and
remove said claims;
WHEREAS, interest and penalty have accrued on said claims in the aggregate amount of
$252.32 as of June 30, 2013 and continues to accrue;
WHEREAS, the Township of Upper Allen has incurred administrative costs in
connection with the filing and removal of said claims in the amount of $75.00;
AND WHEREAS, We have been given to understand that said claims are still due and
unpaid, and remain a lien against said property;
Now, you are hereby notified to file your affidavit of defense to said claim, if defense you
have thereto, in the office of the Prothonotary of our said court, within fifteen days after the

service of this writ upon you. If no affidavit of defense be filed within said time, judgment may
be entered against you for the whole claim, and the property described in the claim be sold to
recover the amount thereof.
