MOTION FOR CLARIFICATION -
The Community Law Clinic, on behalf of Benjamin J. Ritter, comes now seeking clar��'�cation�f
the May 30, 2013 Appointment of Guardian Order and in support thereof represents the
following:
l. On May 30, 2013, the Community Law Clinic was appointed by this Honorable Court
as Guardian Ad Litem for Benjamin J. Ritter, an incapacitated person.
2. On June 28, 2013 the Court granted, in part, a motion for continuance to allow this
office time to obtain an expert medical opinion.
3. The Court held proceedings at the scheduled July 1, 2013 hearing date, for the limited
purpose of hearing testimony from expert witnesses called by Candi Yinger, mother of the
incapacitated person.
4. At the July 1, 2013 hearing, there was discussion as to the Guardian Ad Litem's role is
in this matter.
5. As a result of the July l, 2013 discussion, the Community Law Clinic is unsure as to
the extent of independent information that the Court requires.
6. Candi Yinger, through her attorney, John Mangan, concurs in this motion.
7. As Larry Ritter, Father of the incapacitated person, is unrepresented in this matter, his
concurrence is not required.
Wherefore, the Community Law Clinic respectfiilly requests that this Court clarify its
May 30, 2013 order, to indicate the level of independent inFormation that the Community Law
Clinic is expected to produce.
