���� co�ideration�t3f the Petition of Cumberland County Aging and Community Services for
Emergency Appointment as Plenary Guardians of the Person and Estate of Rebecca Welch-Kohl,
and after hearing on the Petition, as a result of which the Court finds the provisions of 20
Pa.C.S.A. §5511 to be inapplicable due to the exigencies of the circumstances justifying
approval of the Petition, the Court further finds, based upon clear and convincing evidence, that
Rebecca Welch-Kohl currently lacks sufficient mental capacity to make or communicate, or even
participate in responsible decisions concerning her person, and that failure to appoint an
emergency guardian will result in irreparable harm to her person and estate.
Therefore, it is hereby ORDERED that Cumberland County Aging and Community
Services is appointed emergency plenary guardians of the person and estate of Rebecca Welch-
Kohl for an initial period of seventy-two (72) hours from the date and time of this Order, which
period, due to the need to establish appropriate placement, level of care and evaluations, is
hereby extended for an additional period of twenty (20) days pursuant to 20 Pa.C.S.A. §5513.
