1. AMERIFIRST HOME IMPROVEMENT FINANCE CO., hereinafter referred to as "Plaintiff',
is a Pennsylvania Corporation and a financial institution chartered under the laws of the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is located at the address indicated in the above
caption.
2. The Defendant, CHESTER A. LATCHFORD, JR. is an adult individual residing at 407
Beaver Avenue, Apartment H, Enola, PA 17025.
3. On or about December 9, 2005, the Defendant executed and delivered to Sears Home
Improvement a Home Improvement Installment Contract (herein "Contract) under the
account 999684913. The sum of $18,543.50 was financed with an interest of 12.340 %.
See Exhibit "A ".
4. Under the terms of the Contract, the Defendant was required to make prompt and regular
payments, namely 180 payments of $226.63.
5. The Contract was assigned by Sears Home Improvment to Amerifirst Home Improvement
Finance Co. See Exhibit "A ".
6. The Contract is in default due to the failure of the Defendant to make monthly payments as
they became due and owing. The last payment was made on or about May 6, 2010. See
Exhibit "B ".
The following amounts are due:
Principal $ 17,815.54
Interest as of 5/7/2013 $ 7,313.61
Attorneys fees $ 3,563.11
TOTAL $ 28,692.26
Plus interest from 5/08/13 at the rate of $6.02 per day.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff, demands Judgment against the Defendant in the amount of
$28,692.26 together with interest from 5/08/33 plus interest at the rate of $6.02 per day,
attorney's fees and costs of suit.

maintenance worker at the apartment complex, it was learned that the Defendant is currently incarcerated
in State Prison.
