Re: Doris Riley,"The Life of Riley"
Dear Ms.Lewis:
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Doris Riley and express our most sincere
condolences for this loss. Thank you for sharing this news with us.
The publishing agreement between us and Ms. Riley is still considered active, as our contract
states, under Succession of Parties,that the stipulations and agreements therein shall apply to and
bind the heirs,executors, administrators,and assigns of the Author. In order to continue forward
with our servicing of Ms.Riley's book agreement, we require the full name, mailing address,
telephone number, and email address, if applicable, of the legal representative of the estate with
whom we will be working,as well as a copy of legal proof of such authority. Any author
earnings will be sent directly to the representative of the estate, and we ask that the name to
which the payment will be sent be verified and that torrent mailing address or direct deposit
information is provided. The government also requires a W-9 for the person who is to receive
any earnings on this account. Should any of this information change,we would need to know at
least forty-five (45) days prior to the next earnings disbursement in order to have alterations made
to the earnings.
We have provided a W-9 and information about how to have any earnings deposited directly to a
U.S. bank account herewith.
Again,we offer our sympathy at this difficult time and are happy to answer any questions you
may have about moving forward with the continued publication of Ms. Riley's work.
