Opinion: John & Kimberly Hoffman v Timothy Myers and Nicole D Young
The testimony and the exhibits provided at the hearing on April 18, 2013
indicated that Kimberly Hoffinan and Nicole Young were involved in a car accident on
October 23, 2012. At that time, Ms. Hoffman proceeded straight through a green light,
when Ms. Young turned in front of her, with a collision ensuing. At the time, Ms. Young
did not have car insurance, nor did Mr. Myers, the owner of the vehicle that Ms. Young
was driving.
Because Ms. Young turned in front of the vehicle and was cited for same, and
because neither she nor Mr. Myers had car insurance, they are responsible for the
damages to Mr. and Mrs. Hoffinan's vehicle, totaling $1941.50. The total Judgment is
thus for the Plaintiffs, and including Court costs, amounts to $2086.46.
It is so ORDERED.
