C8'rui�, �sylvani�'17050, died testate on January 17, 2008, and Brian P. Barner was
appointed Executor by the decedent's last Will dated July 11, 2002, which was accepted by the
Register of Wills of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania for probate on February 26, 2008, and steps
necessary to complete the administra.tion were undertaken by the Executor.
WHER.AS,the Will, in Item 5,I give and bequeath to each o,f'my grandchildren, a$SDD.00
savings bond, to be purchased with the funds from my estate.
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that I, Andrew A. Grassmyer, grandson of
LEROY B. BARNER,deceased, does hereby acknowledge that I release the esta.te in exchange for
$250.00 cash in lieu of the savings bond.
AND, THEREFORE, I, Andrew A. Grassmyer, remise, release, quitclaim, and absolutely
discharge, indemnity and hold harmless the Executor, his executors, heirs, and administrators, of,
and from said legacy, and of and from a11 action, whatsoever, for or by reason thereof or relating in
any way to his administration of the Estate or of any other act, matter, cause, or thing whatsoever
from the beginning of the world to the date of these presents.
INTENDING to be legally bound hereby, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
