AFFIDAVIT OF MILITARY/NON-MILITARY STATUS
Lisa Jacobs, having been duly sworn, hereby states as follows:
1. I am a representative of Erie Insurance Group ("Erie") and as such am
fully familiar with the facts and circumstances underlying the above-captioned matter.
2. Erie is subrogated to its insured, Michael Scherden, in connection with a
loss that occurred on February 18, 2004, which is the incident giving rise to this matter.
3. Pursuant to the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act of 1940, as modified
by the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of2003, this affidavit is submitted as proof that
Jeremv L. Bricker is not presently in active service in any branch of the United States
Military.
4. As proof ofthe military/non-military status of Jeremy L. Bricker, the
undersigned contacted the Defense Manpower Data Center, which provided written
verification of such status, attached hereto as Exhibit A.
5. The foregoing information is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
