Inheritance Tax Release of Lien

Reference is made to your letter to me dated October 23,2013,concerning the above-captioned
Estate. The Department of Revenue will be pleased to release the property situated at 2531
Pheasant Drive,Upper Allen Township,Cumberland County,PA from the inheritance tax lien
associated with the Estate of Norma E. Weber, An inheritance tax release of lien will be
provided upon the payment of adequate consideration.
Consideration in the amount of$3,780.00 is required. The payment was derived by applying a
4.5 percent statutory inheritance tax rate against$84,000.00,the sales price/current fair market
value of the property. Interest and penalty will be abated,
The payment of$3,780.00 should be made to the Register of Wills of Cumberland County by
cheek made payable to"Register of Wills,Agent". Request that the payment be applied to the
Estate of Norma E.Weber. A receipt will be provided. Pax to my attention a copy of the
receipt. I will return to you an original and copy of the release of lien. You will be instructed to
file the original release of lien with the Register of Wills of Cumberland County, The copy may
be retained for your records.
